Mante Elelueta is an interdisciplinary creator whose work focuses on photography, installation, sound art, and their interplay. While studying at the Vilnius Academy of Arts in the Department of Photography and Media Art, she embarked on an ongoing artistic exploration, which later materialized in several solo and group exhibitions. During an exchange program at Linz University of the Arts in Austria, she expanded her practice to include sculpture and transmedia spatial concepts. Her works have been exhibited in various Lithuanian cities, as well as in Liepāja (Latvia), Laval (France), and Vienna (Austria).
Her debut solo exhibition, “Dustoids*. The Universe under My Bed”, showcased the findings of her ongoing exploration and was reviewed in the well-known Lithuanian art newspaper 7md. For the past few years, her work has focused on the unseen and unspoken wonders of the microcosm. Through her interdisciplinary practice, she seeks to reveal the subtle intricacies of the dust surrounding us, uncovering what often goes unnoticed while forging connections between the macro and micro worlds.
