Installation (print on plastic construction sheeting, postcard rack, photographic series)
The gallery walls are laid bare. Their framework exposed, their surfaces stripped of skin. In this state, the artist’s body becomes a temporary covering: another skin briefly enveloping the space. As architecture and body come together, a third dimension emerges, where time, decay and formation meet.
Up close, the body unfolds as a relief: scars, moles and tattoos—marks accumulated over time, a kind of bodily topography.
From this body, a temporary space, the artist sends greetings and invites visitors to take fragments of it with them—to carry them away and disperse them beyond the exhibition space. In this way, the body gradually disperses and travels on, reminding us that all bodies eventually scatter and meet in the same place, becoming part of the environment from which they are formed.
